WHERE YOUR LIFE IS
THE DINING AREA AS A CREATIVE MEETING PLACE
CREATE SIDE BY SIDE
In an apartment in Copenhagen, ceramicist Andrea Tsang and artist Josefin Tolstoy work side by side. The dining area becomes a creative space where ideas, colour, form and conversation come together.
WHERE IDEAS TAKE SHAPE
The dining table becomes the natural place for Andrea and Josefin to talk, sketch and work together.
The Clapperton dining table features a generous surface that provides space for both materials and ideas, creating a creative dining area that supports collaborative work and creative flow. Here, two different artistic expressions come together in a shared creative process where ideas can develop.
The dining area becomes a natural gathering point for us. Here, we can work with focus, but also lift our gaze, talk and inspire one another.

A SPACE FOR BOTH WORK AND SOCIAL INTERACTION
Around the dining table stands the Scandinavian-designed armchair Maymont with well-considered lines and great comfort, which makes it easy to stay for a long time. Work at the table alternates with conversation, laughter and reflection – a dynamic that reflects the dining area’s role as both a workspace and a social meeting place. Here, creativity is given room without compromising on function or comfort.
LET ART TAKE ITS PLACE WITHIN THE SPACE
In the creative environment of Copenhagen, the home becomes a space where ideas are tested, expressions are evaluated, and art evolves. Sketches, ceramics, and colours are given room to interact within the interior, meeting one another in different settings throughout the space.
For Andrea and Josefin, it is about letting art live within the home and observing how creative expressions change depending on the environment, light, and presence. In this type of creative interior, the home is not simply a backdrop, but an active part of the creative process.
