Clapperton is a solid wood dining table in brown oak, defined by a clear design language and strong aesthetic value. Crafted in Europe with great care for both environmental responsibility and refined detailing, the table is designed to endure – in both quality and expression. The FSC®-certified wood is finger-jointed, a technique that not only adds strength but also creates a lively and dynamic pattern across the tabletop.
The design strikes a harmonious balance between straight and softly rounded lines, giving the table a modern yet timeless feel. The splayed legs meet in an elegant joint where each pair is united into a single piece – a subtle yet sophisticated design detail that enhances the table’s overall expression.
With an original length of 140 cm, the table is also practical and flexible. With one or two extension leaves, sold separately, it can be extended into an oval table measuring up to 240 cm, making it easy to adapt for both everyday dining and larger social gatherings. Clapperton brings together function, sustainability and aesthetics in a thoughtfully designed whole.
SURFACE TREATMENT: The dining table has been treated with Rubio Monocoat, providing a durable surface that resists wear and tear effectively. This means the table does not require further treatment before use. To maintain the table's beauty, we recommend regular maintenance with RUBIO Surface Care for efficient stain cleaning (when needed), as well as RUBIO Refresh Eco for refreshing the wood surface (when needed, up to 4 times a year).
