THE DINING AREA IS THE HEART OF THE HOUSE
We at Rowico Home think that the dining area is the heart of the house. It is where we eat, do homework, work and hang out. It's something that The Swedish Family agreed to when we visited them in their house in Portugal.
THE SWEDISH FAMILY
In 2017, Joanna André started a YouTube channel and began filming her family's daily life. It quickly gained traction, and as a result, Joanna and her partner Axel Berggren decided to quit their jobs and explore the world together with their children.
"The Swedish Family," as they call themselves, is now well-known and they share their life in Portugal with many followers. They have a warm home where everyone is welcome, and to be able to host many guests for dinner, they have chosen the NAGANO dining table and NAGANO chairs for their living room. With an additional leaf, they can accommodate up to 10 guests, maybe even 12 if two sit at the ends of the table.
EVERYDAY LIFE AROUND THE DINING TABLE
The Swedish Family has three children aged 9, 7, and 0, and there is often activity around the dining table with homework, drawing, or having snacks with friends. Everyone enjoys having a little more space for their activities around the dining table, especially the youngest, Laura, who often ends up in the center of the table.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME
Spending time together is a big part of The Swedish Family's everyday life. They often have friends and family over for meals and socializing.
- The dining area is very important to us, and after searching for a new dining set for our new home, we decided on the Nagano set from Rowico Home. We love the wood, the color, that it's Swedish design, and that we can customize it to our needs. Additionally, we chose to add their Auckland rug underneath the dining set to really tie the room together. Now, everyone is welcome in our home, says a happy Joanna.
