CARE INSTRUCTIONS LEATHER

 

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR GENUINE LEATHER FURNITURE 

 

  • Start by treating your new furniture before it is put into use.  Follow the instructions from the respective furniture care supplier.
  • Clean and impregnate the furniture at least 2–4 times per year to avoid fading, dry cracks etc.
  • Vacuum the furniture regularly using a soft nozzle to prevent dust and dirt from wearing on the leather.
  • Do not place the furniture in direct sunlight or too close to a heat source.
  • A dry indoor climate has a negative effect on the leather. Therefore ensure good air humidity.
  • Screws and fittings should be checked at regular intervals to ensure that they are properly tightened.

GOOD TO KEEP IN MIND IN EVERYDAY LIFE

  • Our furniture is intended for indoor use only.
  • Wet stains should always be wiped off as quickly as possible to prevent moisture from penetrating.
  • Always protect the furniture from sharp and hot objects, strong solvents and moisture. All types of liquids, such as water, coffee and wine, must be wiped off immediately.
  • Do not use strong chemicals, alcohol or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the surface.
  • On upholstered products, pressure marks may appear when the product is unpacked. These normally disappear after a couple of days.
 

WHEN THE FURNITURE IS NO LONGER IN USE

Donate, sell or recycle the product in accordance with local guidelines when you no longer need it. In this way, you help reduce waste and extend the product’s lifespan.
