Care instructions CERAMIC SURFACES

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR FURNITURE WITH A CERAMIC SURFACE

Furniture with a ceramic surface provides durable furniture that does not really require any special maintenance.

  • Ceramic surfaces should be cleaned with warm water and mild cleaning products. Then dry with a clean cloth or kitchen paper.

  • There are a number of window cleaning products on the market that can be used with excellent results to prevent or remove rings and streaks from the surface after cleaning. When removing any stains, always rinse thoroughly afterwards with water mixed with washing-up liquid or similar and then dry.

  • Screws and fittings should be checked at regular intervals to ensure that they are properly tightened.

GOOD TO KEEP IN MIND IN DAILY USE

  • Our furniture is intended for indoor use only.
  • Always protect the furniture from sharp, hot objects, strong solvents and moisture.
  • Avoid pushing the furniture or lifting it by the top panel, doors or drawers, as there is a risk of damaging the furniture.
  • Always protect the furniture from sudden changes in temperature and humidity.
  • Do not place the furniture against or near a heat source.
  • Be careful when using coloured candles or tape on the furniture.
  • Do not use strong chemicals, alcohol or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the surface.
  • Ceramic surfaces withstand contact with high temperatures, but as the entire piece of furniture is not heat-resistant, this is only recommended for short periods.
  • A ceramic surface is highly scratch-resistant, but the surface should be protected with mats to prevent mechanical wear.
