Bottles that have not ended up in the ocean or polluted beaches but instead have been processed into a high-quality soft fabric that is perfect for furniture.
– At Rowico Home, our goal is to produce all of our products as sustainably as possible. Our manufacturing processes and choice of wood are very important to us. Now that we have found a fabric that is created from recycled plastic bottles that are melted into ultra-fine polyester fibers, which are then woven into a soft textile, it feels like another step in our sustainability thinking, says Jesper Bergendahl, Supply Chain Manager and Designer at Rowico Home.
PAISLEY IS FSC-CERTIFIED
The chair is not only comfortable and designed with high aesthetic value, but in addition to the recycled fabric, the wood inside the chair is FSC-certified. This means that the wood comes from responsible forestry, which takes people and the environment into account.
