The insert in brown oak for Clapperton is a carefully considered addition that makes the dining table even more flexible and functional. Crafted in Europe from the same FSC®-certified oak as the table itself, the insert features finger-jointed construction and a carefully applied Rubio oil finish. This enhances the wood’s natural character and creates a colour tone that harmonises beautifully with the table, allowing the insert to blend seamlessly into the overall design when in use.
With one or two inserts, the table can easily be adapted for both spontaneous dinners and larger gatherings, without compromising the sculptural design language or stability. The inserts are easy to fit and add extra functionality without drawing attention away from the table’s design.
